In tsunami on level of students' degrees - kyu we try to master all required material in respect of theoretical and practical, and also we learn to run real fight.
Next on level of the masterly degrees - dan we develop more and more great efficiency in fight, and also skill of teaching others. In tsunami too the real master is considered a person, who is not only conquered high skills, but also possesses students and is able properly to run them in the way of improvement themselves.

In Poland degree 10 dan possesses four masters (in order alphabetical):

- Tadeusz Kochanowski10 dan - the pioneer judo, the founder and the first president Polish Judo Association,
- Christopher Kondratowicz10 dan - the pioneer jiu-jitsu, the founder Polish Centre of Jiu-jitsu Goshin-ryu,
- Richard Murat the leader karate in Poland, the founder of tsunami style.
These degrees became were awarded and confirmed in 1999 year with decision of leaders (main masters) of various styles, entering in composition Polish Martial Arts and Sports Federation (concentrating over 27 various styles Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipinos and other).
Apart of that 2003 the degree 10 dan got also master John Jasiewicz - the leader of Pszczyńska Akademy of Martial Arts and vice-president of Polish Martial Arts and Sports Federation.
